I do believe everything happens for a reason and every pain; every hurt won’t be wasted but a blessing in disguise because this excruciating, this heartrending pain will be a fountain of wisdom for one’s self and to others. What is the opposite of love?


For some, the opposite of love is apathy, for some it’s hate but for me the opposite of love is not HATE but USING OTHERS.


This world is teemed of users and parasites, it’s residing and lurking in friendships, or in relationships- it’s so rampant, very universal. For some, love and people are commodities. It’s so sad when people would only befriend you to get something from you; it's more poignant when people love you not for who you are but for what you have.


Some think that people are banks any time they could loan without paying. Some thought a person is a listening machine, they will cry their hearts out to you, ask for your advice but when you need someone to listen to your problems they’re gone! Some would only remember you when they have problems but when they’re happy they’re million miles away and they will make excuses that they’re busy. Some will befriend you because they can benefit from it. But worst some will love you because they need you in order to get what they want!


Life is not fair even in the field of love… well it doesn’t mean that; when you show kindness to people they will be kind to you; when you help people they will help you, too. It’s not a guarantee that if you love and be faithful to someone he/she will love you back and will be faithful to you!!! Real love is expecting nothing in return. Love doesn’t cost a thing and it’s free. To need someone is a form of co-dependency, and using someone is a kind of parasitism which is unhealthy to relationships.


What people must learn in life is to love people and to use things, not to use people and love things!!! People have feelings they can get hurt, things have no feelings but they get broken sometimes so are hearts. People come into our lives for a reason maybe to teach us invaluable lessons about love and life. Life is all about loving… so give real love, no phony love please! In this life, we are not gauged according to material possessions we have but how much genuine love we give!


So, the next time you will come across users or toxic people run for your lives, save your heart from pain.


Just always bear in mind: There’s no user if nobody wants to be used!
